In the Ministry of Agriculture, Mari El told what they expect from the implementation of the program for the development of dairy farming in the republic. The state of the agro-industrial complex of the republic of mari el history of animal husbandry in mari el

Agriculture is the backbone agro-industrial complex... Agricultural lands occupy 33% of the territory of the republic. The structure of land is dominated by arable land (60.5%), as well as forage land (21%). At the same time, the total plowed area is 20%.

Agricultural land structure

Structure of agricultural land (average value for 2013-2017)

Agriculture is the second most important branch of the Mari El economy, which provides almost a fifth of the gross regional product. The location of agriculture is influenced by two main factors - favorable soil conditions and the proximity of a large consumer. It is natural that the majority of agricultural producers are located in the north-east of the republic, in the Right Bank and near the city of Yoshkar-Ola. Natural conditions in most of the Mari El, they are not very favorable for the cultivation of grain and industrial crops on an industrial scale. Therefore, in market conditions, there is a shift in the specialization of agriculture towards the strengthening of the leading role of animal husbandry. Currently, animal husbandry provides two-thirds of agricultural output, while the average for Russia is 54%. A high share of livestock breeding indicates a more economically developed agriculture... At the same time, such a structure is less favorable for the preservation of the environment.

The leading livestock industry in Mari El is poultry, which occupies a leading position both in the conditional livestock population (more than 60%) and in terms of revenue. Cattle breeding is in second place in terms of livestock, pig breeding is in third, but in terms of revenue, these livestock sectors are changing places.

The number of cattle in farms of all categories as of January 1, 2018 amounted to 84 thousand heads, including 32.8 thousand cows; pigs - 256 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 42 thousand heads, poultry - 10.7 million heads.

Note: when determining the livestock of farm animals, the coefficients of conversion of the physical livestock of animals and poultry into conditional heads of cattle were used: cattle 1.0, horses 0.66, bee families 0.2, pigs 0.16, sheep and goats 0.06, rabbits 0.05, bird 0.025.

The structure of the livestock of farm animals (conventional heads)

The production of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight in farms of all categories in 2017 amounted to 278 thousand tons, milk - 182 thousand tons, eggs - 360 million pieces. The average milk yield per cow was 5799 kg. The average laying hen's egg production was 290 eggs.

Agricultural production (average volumes for 2013-2017)

Agriculture in the republic is largely oriented towards the needs of animal husbandry. So in the structure of sown areas, more than 40% falls on fodder crops.

Sown area structure (average value for 2013-2017)

In second place in terms of area under crops are cereals and leguminous crops, but barley, oats and leguminous crops predominate in their composition, which are also mainly used for animal feed.

Cereals are grown in most areas of Mari El, except for Kilemarsky, Zvenigovsky and Yurinsky, where they are almost nonexistent. An increased share of wheat in the sown area is typical for Orsha, Mari-Turek and Medvedev districts, rye of Mari-Turek and Paranginsky districts, barley of Medvedev, Mari-Turek and Soviet. Mari-Tureksky, Paranginsky and Medvedevsky districts stand out for crops of grain crops in general.

The structure of sown areas of grain crops (average value for 2013-2017)

In 2017, the gross grain harvest in weight after processing in farms of all categories amounted to 237 thousand tons. The yield of grain and leguminous crops in weight after processing was 17.0 c / ha.

Grain yield (average value for 2013-2017)

Grain harvesting

Unlike cereals, which are almost entirely grown commercially, potatoes and vegetables are planted mainly on private farms, 80% and 63%, respectively. Therefore, the placement of the sown areas of these crops as a whole repeats the placement rural population... A certain exception is the increased share of commercial potato growing in the Gornomariyskiy and Novotoryalskiy regions and vegetable growing in the same, as well as in Morkinsky and Volzhskiy regions. However, in terms of the absolute size of the sowing of these crops, the undisputed leader is the Gornomariysk region, the commercial production of which in it alone is greater than in the rest of the republic. At the same time, cabbage is the main vegetable crop, which occupies more than 90% of commercial vegetable crops.

In 2017, farms of all categories harvested 201.5 thousand tons of potatoes, 132 thousand tons of vegetables. The yield of potatoes was 104 c / ha, vegetables - 270 c / ha.

Note: when creating the map, the following classification of agricultural producers was used in terms of the volume of annual earnings: large (1-10 billion rubles); medium (100 million - 1 billion rubles); small (10-100 million rubles); other significant (0.5-10 million rubles).

Agricultural producers

Based on the analysis of the degree of productivity of land for production essential products agriculture has been done integral assessment the intensity of the use of agricultural land and a thematic map was built. Low intensity means that the yield per hectare of agricultural land is lower than the average for Mari El, medium and high indicates an excess of the average.

Intensity of use of agricultural land (integral assessment)

Food industry occupies one of the leading places in the structure of the economy of the Republic of Mari El. In general, this industry has a lower level of concentration than many other industries, since it is largely consumer-oriented and dispersed sources of raw materials. But with the progress of transport and storage methods, this dependence decreases. Therefore, the concentration factors KK 3 and KK 5 are equal, respectively, 0.64 and 0.84 are near the average values, although lower than in mechanical engineering. Relatively high concentration food production due to the fact that they include enterprises of the sub-industry "processing and canning of meat and meat food products", which are among the largest in Russia. These are Zvenigovsky Meat Processing Plant LLC in Shelanger settlement, Yoshkar-Olinsky Meat Processing Plant CJSC (Yola Agroholding), Akashevskaya Poultry Factory LLC, and Mariyskoye CJSC (Krasnooktyabrsky urban settlement).

These companies combine all stages from the cultivation of fodder and grain crops to various types of canned food, sausage and other meat products. The holdings include feed mills and branded Retail Stores... In particular, Agroholding Yola includes CJSC Plemzavod Shoybulaksky with a pig farm for 133 thousand heads and 24 thousand hectares of arable land. The Zvenigovsky meat processing plant has about 80 thousand hectares of land, including more than 50 thousand hectares in Tatarstan, and contains more than 190 thousand pigs and develops the production of cattle. The capacities of the Akashevskaya poultry farm are located in ten districts of the republic.

Largest enterprise In this industry - JSC "Sernur cheese plant", which has its own raw material base from goat and sheep farms in the Sernur region and a goat farm in Tatarstan. Sernur products are now sold throughout Russia, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The sub-industry "production of bakery and flour confectionery products" is represented by the enterprises of Yoshkar-Ola (OJSC "Yoshkar-Olinskaya confectionery factory", CJSC "Sladky Ostrov", LLC "Firma Suvenir", LLC "Khlebozavod No. 1", LLC "Rus-Bakery ") And Zvenigovsky district (LLC" Rimko ", LLC" Vkusnoteev "), etc.

The head of Mari El continues to get acquainted with the region. This time Alexander Evstifeev visited the Mari-Turek region of the republic, where he visited the Agrofirm "Akpars".

“The farm needs additional investments. The problem is high bank rates, and our task is to find acceptable conditions for the enterprise to develop further, ”said the head of the Republic of Mari El, Alexander Evstifeev.

The farm was one of the first in the region to participate in the state program for the revival of pedigree dairy farming, the project of which was developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic on behalf of the head of Mari El, Alexander Evstifeev.

Now there are 744 heads of cattle at the Aryp-Murzinsky dairy farm, of which 272 are dairy herds. In total, the farm has 1200 heads.

For the surrounding villages, the enterprise is a settlement-forming one. 150 villagers are provided with work here, and even more during the season. "All of them are local - Kosolapov and Sysoevskie", - proudly noted general manager agricultural firms Gadil Akhatov.

The head of the republic, Alexander Evstifeev, began the inspection and acquaintance with the work of the farm from the premises for keeping animals. The agricultural enterprise is a pedigree reproducer for breeding black-and-white cattle.

The head of the region was shown how the animals are fed and where the young are kept. The average daily weight gain on cultivation here is 722 grams. - this is the highest indicator among agricultural enterprises of the Mari-Turek region. The safety of the livestock is 100 percent.

“This enterprise receives state support within the framework of the federal program for the development of the agro-industrial complex. Subsidies go to a liter of milk produced and the maintenance of young breeding stock, ”explained the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic, Yuri Sidiganov.

Alexander Evstifeev also got acquainted with the production technologies at the farm and talked with the employees of the enterprise.

As the general director of the agrofirm Gadil Akhatov said, Agrofirm "Akpars" was founded in 2006. Having bought a bankrupt farm, the management began to reconstruct and modernize livestock buildings, 80 heads of dairy herd during this time increased to 500.

In addition to animal husbandry, the farm is also engaged in crop production, cultivating 13.5 thousand hectares of arable land. The total sown area is 12902 hectares, which is almost a third of the sown area of the entire Mari-Turek region. The company pays great attention to the renewal of the machine and tractor fleet. It is important not only to grow and harvest, but also to provide the animals with a balanced feed.

With all this, the enterprise is profitable: according to the results of work in 2016, products were produced here for almost 1 million rubles per employee.

“For us, as a municipal authority, it is very important that the company performs an important social function: helps kindergartens and schools by being the main supplier of meat for them. This is a basic enterprise that bears social responsibility for the nutrition of our children with ecologically pure products, ”said Sergei Reshetov, head of the Mari-Turek region.

The authorities of the region and the republic intend to use maximum opportunities to support the agro-industrial complex. The development of dairy farming is one of the priorities of state policy.

“This is a very interesting farm because its activity combines several directions. The farm works profitably, develops, does not attract labor force from outside. All employees are happy. And our task is to do everything so that the enterprise continues to develop ”, - the head of Mari El Alexander Evstifeev shared his impressions with republican journalists.

The head of the republic instructed the Ministry of Agriculture, if necessary, to provide support in filling out an application for a loan and state support. The agrofirm will need funds soon: the management plans to build new premises for the farm and increase the number of dairy herds by a third, according to the Department of Public Relations and Information of the Head of the Republic of Mari El.
